MAGGIE'S MONSTER BIKE & HIKE 2010

One of our members, Scott, is participating in this event between 1st & 2nd May 2010.

"The bike and hike is an event which takes us along the Great Glen Way from Fort William to Inverness.  The event is split into 2 disciplines... A 30 mile cycle followed by a 48 mile hike to the finish... or possibly in my case to the death...lol

I am taking part in the event above,  those of you who know me will appreciate how big an undertaking this will be for me.  I, along with Tom Faichen (random bloke from my gym) intend to complete the course within 18hrs or as close to it as possible."

You can support Maggie's Centres by sponsoring Scott using the Just Giving link below.

Maggie's Centres help people adjust to living with cancer. Its pioneering support programme has been developed for patients, their carers, family and friends. Each centre is located close to an NHS hospital and they have been designed carefully and imaginatively to make sure people feel at home.
